Info
Invisible Sightings (Taiwan) are drawings Pien made during his four-month stay in Taiwan while researching into representations and concepts of ghosts. The collection of over 300 drawings reflects directly how he experienced and responded, upon his return to Taiwan for the first time since immigrating to Canada 28 years ago at the age of eleven. Experiencing Taiwan as an "outsider," the artist attempted to capture in image form, the "exotic" cultures of that country.
