Suspension is a series of photographs that uses the flash to capture ice crystals suspended in the air. The light from the flash of the camera causes the crystals to refract and reflect light and give off these beautiful bursts of orb like forms. The images were taken during early morning when it is dark out and the air is still. To my knowledge, Ice crystals are present in the air but usually much higher up, where jets fly. In extreme cold conditions, they can just hang around in any elevation, like fog.
